Internet Down

Due to lack of funds, we had to cancel our cable, phone, internet package. So, I am looking for a cheaper solution to the internet problem. Should have that fixed soon. In the mean time, we still have our cell phones and sometimes I am able to get someething on my laptop for internet. I will keep you posted.

The newest additionS to our family!

These are my newest babies. I spent part of the day trying to pick names out for them. I went through a dog naming website and looked at HUNDREDS of names. Well, I thought about my brother and, since he is in Hawaii, I looked up Hawaiian dog names. "Thumper" ultimately had the final decision. But, I am his wife. How good of a wife would I be if I didn't know how to sway my husband's decisions to where he thought it was his own? So, we named them.............

I'm gonna miss them

Well, Tyler and Amanda just woke me up to say their last good-byes. I know I was mad at them, but it is so hard to stay mad when you know someone is leaving and don't know when they will be back. I just wanted to say that I love them and they are going to a better place. This is a picture of where they will be staying for a while. This is the view from the back door, apparently! LUCKY DOGS! Anyway, I will post more later. I have to go back to bed. :) Tyler and Amanda, have fun, be safe, and remember that EVERY ONE OF US IS LIVING VICARIOUSLY THROUGH YOU, so see the world, and send us postcards, not letters on white pieces of paper! Used

I feel SO used right now! I wonder, sometimes, if people just look at me and go, "HEY! She is so easy to step on. Let me just keep pointing her in different directions and stepping on her until she starts to catch on. Then, we will just move onto someone else. Who cares how she will feel after we are done with her because we don't care! It won't effect us at all." I am DONE helping people in ways that will effect me. I will not share my home anymore.

The Fair!

Well, the fair was in town for the weekend. It has gotten EXPENSIVE! I remember when we could go and spend $25.00 for an all day pass. It was $20 for 40 tickets and $40 for 80 tickets....etc. The big rides were 8/person and the little ones were 6/person! The games even cost a lot. It was insane! Angelica had a lot of fun though. We took her on Saturday and she went on this ball pit thing twice, the glass maze once, and played two games and won prizes! Thumper won one game and got a huge aligator for Monkey.
Thumper and I went to the fair alone on Friday. Angelica stayed with her cousin Bop for the night and Monkey stayed at home with a babysitter. We only went on three rides though. Oh, and I ran into someone I use to work with at the casino. It was way cool to see her again. We went home after that. I will post pictures in a few days.

Independence Day!

Happy Fourth of July! This was such an awesome day! We went to our friend's family bbq. There was probably over 250 people there. We went to someone's house but it looked like a park! There was a trampoline, swings, rope swings, tire swings, a merry-go-round, bikes of all sizes, horse shoes, kiddie games, and about 1/2 a mile away, there was a river! We played on all the toys first, then we took the kids down to play in the river. Bop and Burner and Becca went with us. Then, we went up and played on all the toys again. Todd joined us all for the firework, which, were AMAZING! By far the best Fourth of July that I can remember!

RIVER!

My brother's girlfriend actually talked me into getting a sitter for my kids. I normally don't like to do that unless "Thumper" and I are going on a date or something of that nature. However, I did today and she kidnapped me and took me to the Green Bridge. That's a code name for one of the rivers close by. I had a lot of fun. We tanned, talked, and cooled off with the water. I haven't done something like that in a LONG time. It was really nice. I have some color now, and I have some bonding time in with her before she leaves for Hawaii. Now, I just need to kidnap my brother sometime. I will have to try and spend time with him before he leaves too. Anyway, now I get to spend the evening with my family, eat some ice cream maybe, and watch a movie.

Utah

I just realized that i never wrote a thing about when we went to Utah! We went 6/12-6/17. It was kind of our honeymoon. Only, with kids. :( J/k. It was ok. We started driving 6/12 and stayed at a hotel in Idaho that night. We continued on, the next morning, to Utah. We went to Aunt Barbara & Uncle Dick's as soon as we got there. My awesome friend, Crystal, showed up. It was great to see her. She is a returned missionary from this area. We, also, got to see Mindy on this trip. She is a returned missionary, too. Both of these ladies are really sweet. They have REALLY BIG hearts. They had faith in me, so I have a big heart for them, too.

Anyway, We waited for Thumper's brother and his family to arrive. Once they did, we all went to Kristan's house. All of Thumper's family, that we had traveled with, continued on to Vegas the next morning. Thumper, the kids, and I stayed in UT and visited family, friends, and the BEAUTIFUL Salt Lake temple. We got to go to that temple with Thumper's Grandma, and Aunt, and Uncle. It was amazing. We left around 1:3o p.m., after visiting Crystal one last time, and drove until 5 a.m. the next morning. We arrived safely in OR., Thumper got a couple of hours of sleep, and then went to help some friends. We were so tired, but it was so worth it. :)

Monkey's girlfriendS

This is SO adorable. I babysat yesterday and today for my friend Breeinn. She has a 5 month old baby, named Sophie. Anyway, Monkey was all over her. Kissing her too! (Open mouth) :)

Then, we went to the park to hang out with River and London and their mommy. Monkey was just trying to follow London around, but she can walk. So, just like older women often do in public, she ignored him. But, when she came to stay the night over here tonight she was all buddy-buddy. My little man is a stud. Two girls, one day. :) One younger, one older. He's still keeping his options open, girls! Look-out!

B.F.F.'s

Bop is still Angelica's favorite cousin, but she met a little girl her age and got along great with her. Not one single fight in the 7 hours they were here! It was AMAZING! Now, she can't stop talking about River. Apparently, River can't stop talking about her either. Angelica says that they are Best Friends. My little girl is growing up and expanding on her friends. She just met a 6 year old today named, Chloe. They had fun playing in the backyard, jumping on the trampoline. I remember when I started getting older and my brothers and I would bring home friends from the neighborhood. We always had kids in and out of our house. I want it to be like that for my kids.

Dare Devil

My little monkey is getting so big. And Brave! Dad took something away and stuck it on the movie shelf. Monkey got up on the couch, crawled over the arm, up onto the table, and got the thing off of that shelf. I think it was a gum package. The other day, he dove out of his high chair. He just turned one and he's been climbing onto tables for months. This kid is either going to kill us from a heart-attack, or kill himself trying.

KIDS WILL DO ANYTHING!!!!!

OK. This is just disgusting! It's one thing when your kid isn't walking. It's another when he can start holding onto things and walking. They got a kick out of it though. P.S. I really do not recommend trying this. :)

Embarassing Pics

We ALL have them. If not, you know there is one out there, somewhere. We all, especially, need one good one of our spouse. I just happened to stumble upon this happening one day and I took a picture. How could I not? Yes, He really fell asleep with the basketball on his head. While watching basketball!

Endowments, sealings, Birthday, busy.....

Thumper and I both received our endowments on Wednesday, June 10th at the Portland Temple and got sealed at 5 p.m. on the same day. Now, we are together forever. Like it, or not. I am having issues putting pics onto my computer, so you may not see ANY pics for a while. It was so beautiful! I didn't expect anything like that. We had a reception at 7 p.m. at our church afterwards. Monkey's FIRST BIRTHDAY was the next day (June 11, 2009) so we also celebrated that.

Trouble

OK. So, I love Becca and I do think she is super awesome, however, I got in a little bit of trouble from my mom. I better explain. Becca really posted that last one. :) My mommy called me to chew me out, but when I told her Becca did it, she forgave me. Sorry for outing you, Becca. My favorite person is my husband and my kids follow.

Little less crazy

OK. Still a little hectic, but starting to slow down. I quit the KFC job due to my children acting out and my husband working two jobs. My boss totally understood (thank goodness for LDS bosses) :) and I didn't burn any bridges. So, I have been trying to get my household under control again. Becca, I have not forgot about you. I hope you are still in town on Wednesday, because I have to bring you something before you go. Besides that, Angelica misses the kids.
Besides that, my brother and his girl got laid off from their jobs and are back in town searching for jobs here. They are staying with Dad right now, but might possibly move into our place for a short time. They still haven't decided on that, but if they do, I have to create room. I don't really mind it though. My brother will actually spend time with me. His girlfriend seems like a sweet-heart too. It could be fun having them around.
After this week, I should be caught up on everything around the house and I will pull the pics off my camera and post them. In the mean time, this will have to due. :)

TOO BUSY

Life is just flying by so quickly I am having a hard time catching my breathe. I recently got a part time job a KFC, which, to my surprise has not been that bad. I guess maybe I was prepared for worse when I started. Any who, Thumper has been doing some work during the day and my job is a mixture of night and day shifts. Sometimes we have a babysitter for the kids, other times, we just switch out between the two of us. Thumper has school two days a week, there's church on Sunday, I have 2 callings, Thumper has three (Fortunately, not too demanding.), and then we took time to go to Vegas. It was exhausting, nice, dreadful, and fun all at the same time. Long story, but I have pictures so I will post them and tell about our trip as soon as I can catch my breathe a little more. I love you all.

What happens in Vegas.........

We are leaving for Vegas in 8 days. I am so excited. Angelica is, too. She wants to see her grandparents, Aunts, Uncles, & cousins. My mom hasn't met Monkey, yet, but she is going to love him. Everyone does! I should make one of those count down chains that Bop wants to make for Angelica. :) I promise I will take pictures when I am there and post them.
